About the Office

The Peace and Security Executive Office at Woldia University is dedicated to ensuring a peaceful campus environment. Our mission is to foster a successful and harmonious learning process through collaborative efforts aimed at establishing and maintaining peace. We are committed to continually strengthening our initiatives to meet the community’s needs by enhancing our services.

To uphold peace on campus, the CEO of Woldia University peace and security office relies on a dedicated team. The Executive Director, previously serving as a team leader, has transitioned to the newly established Peace and Security Service. This new structure comprises:

  • 1 Campus Security Information Monitoring Team Leader
  • 1 Information and Security Service Analysis Expert
  • 5 Secret Security and Monitoring Staff

In total, eight staff members will work together to ensure the institution’s safety and security.

Services Provided by the Executive Staff

The executive staffs in this structure are responsible for the following services:

  • Supporting, monitoring, and controlling the activities of the protection association members.
  • Designing operational systems and implementing them across executive bodies.
  • Ensuring that the necessary resources for security operations are available.
  • Enhancing protection strategies and capacity.
  • Improving customer satisfaction.
  • Accepting statements from witnesses using the designated forms provided by the registrar, properly verifying, signing, and disseminating the information.
  • Facilitating capacity-building training for staff members.
  • Resolving disputes through mediation to prevent escalation into violence.
  • Providing efficient and high-quality service to customers.
  • Treating customers with respect and courtesy.
  • Upholding the human and democratic rights of all customers.
